We picked out native plants and small animals that can be found near our home in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Annie drew them into a beautiful pattern, which Eric then transferred onto a 36 x 36 block of linoleum. Eric spent hours carving out each element, adding texture and depth to Annie's line drawings. When finished, we brought the plate to San Francisco, where the first prints were made via
